Tip #1 - Memorize your brain dump, get it down to two pages and 15 minutes. The formula's page can be folded in 8 sections ( EAD, Earned Value, Forecasting, ROM, Communications/PV and Network Diagram, PTA, Actual Profit FPIF, EMV and Sigma) The general knowledge page for PMBOK P61 and Rita's Process Chart will need to be folded into 6 columns (a column for the knowledge areas and one for each process) and 12 rows (header for processes, 10 key knowledge areas, 1 final row for key words assigned to each process/column). Know all of Rita's Process Chart but only memorize Planning IN ORDER. Memorize PMBOK P61.
Tip #2 - sign up for the PM PrepCast - loved this daily reminder to study. The tips were excellent and the sample questions WITH explanations were invaluable.
Tip #3 - Take a class that forces you to work through every chapter in PMBOK and Rita's (study and re-study Rita's tips)
Tip #4 - Read the PMBOK Glossary.
Tip #5 - Read the PMI Code of Conduct, excellent!
Tip #6 - Take as many TIMED practice exams as you can for at least two months prior to the exam. This will help you make quick decisions and help you learn how to read the questions (bottom up), etc.
