I passed back on August 25, but am just now getting to posting about it. I squeaked by with 4 MP and one BP after 4 months of preparation when I wasn't working. I used the PMPrepcast, tons of sample questions I found online, and googled any topics I couldn't grasp. Very happy to have passed and have already seen dividends in the form of recruiter interest. My biggest recommendation would be to prepare a decent amount and then set the test date. Having that hard date pushed me to finish my preparation and sit for the exam.
