Yes, I did all this in 5 weeks.

Daily I used to read 4 to 5 hours ...so I used to split 2 + 3 hrs in the morning versus in evening.
It was really tough...but I just somehow managed it.
I created my own study notes compiling all sources and used to revise it each time before starting a new process/chapter/knowledge area....that way your memory will work like a chain and so I used to remember key points.

At end I took exhaustive practice tests...and consistently scored > 80% in all tests...that way built my confidence for real exam.

Day before exam --> full rest: no study.....just relaxed.

Congratulations on passing the PMP exam! Well done.

Just to clarify, you read the PMBOK 5th version and Rita's Book and studied the PrepCast video - all in 5 weeks? How did you accomplish and having a full-time job? How many hours per day did you study?

Nothing personal, but I find it hard to believe that you did all the above for the first time and covered everything in 5 weeks with a full-time job to boot.

Hi,

I am glad to let you know I took PMP exam and passed it on my first attempt
with 4 P, 1 MP(Closing domain).

My study secret: I studied for about 5 weeks. I read the PMBOK 5th version
and Rita's Book-8th version and watched most of the Prepcast videos. While
studying I prepared my own notes and on an average read 2 processes per
day, as my work pressure did not permit me more. Finally before 2 weeks of
exam, I started taking the PM PrepCast mock tests(200 question) and finished 6
of those , in addition to that practiced all 18 mock tests from Christopher
Scordo's book, which I got as free complementary online version being a
member of PMI.

Then on the exam day, 1 day before, I stopped reading ...only looked
through the ITTO diagrams I pasted on my wall plus the pocket guide of
Formulas I purchased from Prepcast. Prepcast was extremely helpful in my
preparation and fill up the gaps by taking the exams.

Thank you very much !
