I passed my PMP on the first try last week. I used some books loaned by a friend who did not pass but I primarily watched the videos of The PM PrepCast and read along making my own notes. I made a lot of flashcards and some flashcards that were already made. I watched the videos and took practice tests but watching the videos and making notes was the best source. The test can be passed on the first try but you really must set your mind to it, keep distractions to a minimum, and practice practice practice. It's not enough to know what the answer to the question is but also why the other answers are wrong to let yourself know you have a complete understanding of the materials. Good luck to all!!
