I passed the PMP exam back in August 2010!
To be honest, I never read PMBOK guide! I prepared for the exam using "The Complete PMP® Exam Prep System" by Rita Mulcahy. I had some grey areas and subjects that weren't straight to the point, so I bought the PM PrepCast and here I am! PMP certified. The PrepCast helped me in understanding, not memorizing, the processes' Inputs/Outputs and Tools & Techniques.

I highly recommend that you prepare for your PMP exam using the above two tools.
