Dear Cornelius and All,
I got the PMP today on 18 May 2010 in Hong Kong.
Lesson Learned:
PM PREPCAST is really the most cost efficient and effective way for preparing the PMP Examintation as well as the fast lane to get the qualified 35 Contact Hours to fulfil one of the prerequisites to enroll the PMP Examination.
Key things that I have done:
1. CARRY the PM PRECAST with me on my mobile phone so that I can pick and listen to any episode at any time I want;
2. READ the PMBOK guide twice, particularly take out the table on Page 43 Chapter 3 - Project Mangement Process Groups and Knowledge Areas Mapping as well as Chapter 7 for formulae around EVM;
3. USE PM Online Training tools from SkillSoft;
4. PRACTISE simulated PMP Exam and sample questions that can be found on internet.
Overall process toke 2.5 months.
Until next time,
Hiram Chan, PMP
