Tak,

Many congratulations in passing the PMP exam! I can't imagine how difficult it must have been for you taking the exam in English when your native language is Japanese. Good for you for being so brave and I hope you realize of your accomplishment since in the end of it you passed. All the best in your professional journey and I hope that having the PMP credential serves you well.

Enjoy!

I passed PMP 1st attempt with 1AT, 1T and 1BT.
My mother tongue is Japanese and could try test in Japanese, but I tested in
English because most of PMI guidebook written in English and helpful to learn.

My lessons learned as follows.

I studied around 13 weeks for
1. PM prepcast
2. PMP Exam Simulator Delux (I didn't try ITTO exam)
3. The 50 PMP Exam Prep Questions Everyone Gets Wrong by Cornelius Fichtner
4. 21 Formula-based sample questions in Precast
www.project-management-prepcast.com/pmp-formulas

My study plan owes to answer questions more than 1 time, as soon as finished PM
Prepast listening, I tried 10 question of PMP exam simulator.
Though I got only 30% of correct answers at first, I read every answered including incorrect one by one and
check references by accessing PMI standard plus.
Additionally, Process group A Practice Guide was very helpful to understand terminology.
Once got 50% correct of questions, I doubled questions numbers to answer in one time until 80 questions.
Once finished unanswered questions, I tried answered incorrectly questions.
After finished incorrectly questions, I tried questions ramdom and weak knowledge areas.
1 week before test, I listened PMP mindset again in PM prepcast. It was very helpful.
I studied 65 hours simulator and final 60 questions test was 75% correction.

During my study, I wrote few sentences diary every day like self-standup meeting. (what I did yesterday. what I have to do today and is there any roadblock to study exam?)

Real exam was similar type of simulator, not exactly same scenario, but I definitely passed after completed 180 questions.

Thank you for Cornelius and team!
