Congratulations, Jonathan!

Thank you for sharing your Lessons Learned. They are very helpful, and I hadn't heard of that book.

When you are ready to start earning PDU’s for PMP recertification, check out the PM PrepCast’s offerings, The PM Podcast and the The PDU Podcast which will help you keep up with PMI’s Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR’s) and maintain your new certification.

I was able to pass the exam in my first attempt. I used the the Andrew Ramdayal Exam Prep book to study all the processes and learn all the theory behind it. However, I used the PrepCast exam simulator to gain more insight on situational questions which allowed me to strengthen my knowledge. The question were a bit tougher in the simulator but it definitely allows you to do more critical thinking and link the processes with actual situations. Also, it helps you with the time management aspect of the exam. I was averaging 60%-65% in my first attempts, however, in my second attempts I was averaging over 75%.

I highly recommend the PrepCast exam simulator!
