I am delighted to announce that I passed my PMP exam. Prepcast was of an immense help to learn the exam structure and the associated mindset. To share my experience my journey was like the following :
1. Read PMBOK one just roughly (only major sections from each KA).
2. Read Agile practice guide end to end.
2. Read Rita Mulcahy (10th edition) and solved all the questions at the end of every chapter (scored 72 % overall from all the chapters).
3. After every chapter (KA) on Rita I was solving 30 questions from prepcast on the respective KA.
4. Watched PMBOK processes video of Ricardo Vargas on Youtube.
5. Read major sections from "Essential Scrum , Rubin k." This means my focus mas just Scrum from the agile set.
6. Took 3 mock exam from Prepcast and just reviewed the 4th one. I scored 68, 72,72 respectively on PMP1, PMP2 and PMP3 exams.
Lessons learned
1. The exam is entirely conceptual.
2. Agile and hybrid is the majority of the questions (may be 70 %)
3. Just be comfortable with servant leadership mindset.
4. Just be sure that you understood the purpose of the processes from PMBOK (IITO doesn't help much).
