I passed the PMP exam last week with 4 Above Targets and 1 Target, on my first attempt. YAY!!!
In preparation for the exam, I did the following:
1) Read Rita Mulcahy's book twice and answered all the practice questions.
2) Took all 8 Practice Exams in the PM PrepCast Exam simulator.
3) Took Tridib Roy's practice exam on Udemy.
My main strategy was to take as much practice quizzes and exams as i could and the Prepcast exam simulator really helped me in that regard.
Also, i made sure i read and understood the explanations for every answer whether i got it right or not. This helped me to develop the mindset of a project manager.
I knew i was prepared when i started scoring an average of 80% on the practice exams, this helped to boost my confidence.
Finally, i did not memorize the ITTOs.
On exam day:
1)Try to relax
2)Make sure you read and understand what the question is really asking
3)Be conscious of time
Best wishes to everyone and good luck to all candidates!
