Michely,

The answer to your question is on page 431 of the PMBOK Guide, where you find the definition for the OPA in the Glossary. It says: "...any or all of the organizations involved in the project..."

Generally speaking: It doesn't matter where the OPA comes from. You need to consider all that influence your project no matter where they come from.

Some times I get confuse in this kind of situations:

+ Mary is a Pj Manager in Enterprise A.
+ Enterprise A make software and have a good software process defined.(included Pj Managment)
+ Enterprise B make cars, and need a software product.
+ Enterprise B haver a IT department, they make software but in this case, they don´t want to doit.
+ Enterprise B is big and have a good software process defined (included Pj Managment)
+ Enterprise B hire Enterprise A to make a product software.
+ Enterprise A ask Mary to manage that project.

1. When the PMBOK talks about OPA, which OPA have mary to use? the one´s from her enterprise (A) or the one´s from the customer's enterprise (B)?

2. Who is the performer in this case? Enterprise B or Enterprise A?

Tks a lot.

Michely.
