Hello,

I am having some issues understanding the Process Matrix (pg 61 of PMBOK).

The monitoring and closing processes are as follows.
Monitor and Control Project Work, Integrated Change Control, Validate Scope and Control Scope and so on..

However, the Inspection with the customer activity is performed in the Validate scope process. Before the Validate scope process, the quality of the deliverables must be inspected internally. This activity is performed during the Control Quality process.

The process Matrix clearly shows that Validate Scope process happens before Control Quality. So how is it that the quality of the deliverables must be inspected internally before the Validate Scope process? I get the concept, inspection before presenting to the customer. But this isn't what the Process Matrix states, am I reading the matrix wrong here?

Pls help.
Thanks
