I passed my PMP exam today and got 4MP and 1P - could have been better but I am so relieved that I passed. I was pressed or time towards the end and just guessed the questions that I had marked for review
There is no definite formula either as to how many P's, MP's, etc you need to "pass" the exam as it is totally based on the number of questions answered correctly. I myself had 4 P's and 1 MP but I've heard of people passing even with a BP in a knowledge area.
Hi chas,
in the exam result, You are assigned a score in each process group. it is either:
Proficient (people use P as shortcut, so 3P, means one got Proficient in 3 process groups )
Moderately Proficient (MP)
Below Proficient (BP)
Training for Project Management Professional (PMP)®, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)®, and Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®
