TOPIC: How many process are there in Proj.Integration Mgm

Hi Everyone,

Can you please help me get this thing right -

While going through PMBoK Guide, on page 71 and subsequently on page 73 (in Figure 4.1) I learned that there are 6 processes in Project Integration Management Knowledge Area.
But in various other online resources, I found that there are 7 processes mentioned with additional being 'Develop Preliminary Scope Statement'

Is this additional process mentioned (which is not seen in PMBoK Guide - 4th Edition), is valid and correct?

Please help me correct my understanding, if I am missing some inputs.

'Develop Preliminary Scope Statement' is a process from PMBOK version 3. It has been removed from the newest PMBOK Guide.

Tip: If you find such differences, then what you see in your current version of the PMBOK Guide 4th edition is correct, because many website owners have not updated their information.
