This is a very open question and I don't know how to best answer it.

Can you give me more context please? For instance: Is there anything in particular that you don't understand about the techniques described in the PMBOK Guide? Are there any specific ares of requirements gathering you are having trouble with? And what specific areas of planning for a project do you want us to discuss?
