Question: Which type of procurement statement of work is needed to convey what the final product should be able to accomplish?

Answer: performance
Incorrect: functional - conveys the end purpose or result

I'm having a hard time trying to differentiate between the two. What is the difference between "being able to accomplish" and "end purpose or result"? Any examples would be appreciated.
