Hi All
I passed my PMP exam on the first attempt with only 1 month of study.
Here's what i did.
- Bought PM Prepcast as i needed the 35 contact hours and also my research showed that it is the best material available online for PMP preparation
- I could not complete the PM Prepcast, as i had to meet the deadline of scheduling my exam in mid Jul
- I studied the PMBOK guide thoroughly and made extensive notes ( i agree it is very dry)
- I created an ITTO mind map to help me understand and recall the relationships between various processes. I hope that atleast some fellow PMP aspirants would find it useful, and so i have attached it.
- For the last 10 days i gave PM Exam Simulator mock tests almost daily. It is a brilliant product and very true to real PMP exam experience. Also the kind of questions present in the PM Exam simulator clear your concepts and help you in being prepared for the situational questions that are asked in PMP actual exam. My scores in Mock exams were
- Exam 1: 80%
- Exam 2: 82%
- Exam 3: 84%
- Exam 4: 81%
- Exam 5: 83%
- Exam 6: 85%
- Exam 7: 85%
- Exam 8: 81%
- I was hopeful that i would clear the exam as i read in forums that if u score 80%+ in PM Exam Simulator you will pass the exam.Note: Reviewing the questions of mock exams particularly those that you got wrong is Very important for clarifying concepts .
Thank you Cornelius for helping me in my PMP jouney.
