Hello Dear Cornelius,

I have a question regarding Eligibility for PMP Exam if you could help me.
I am working currently As Configuration Management specialist and working closely with the project Manager and I have good experience in project management. And I am interested to be PMP certified do you think my experience will accepted in PMI.

This is usually a difficult question. The PMP handbook (www.pmi.org/pdf/pdc_pmphandbook.pdf) says the following on page 1:
The PMP is a credential for those who direct and lead project teams
There are additional explanations inside the document and I recommend that you read the first 20 pages to really understand the details.

Now that you understand these details you can decide yourself if you truly meet them and if you feel that this is where your career is going.
