I got my certificate for 35 hours contact in march 2010.Since then for some reasons I could not appear for the PMP exam. Is there any validity period for taking the exam with the same certificate of contact hours.

Sanjay,

Contact Hours do not expire. So you can use any and all contact hours that you have earned in the past for your PMP Exam application.

So go ahead and apply for the exam using your 35 contact hour certificate. There will not be any problems for you at all because this is quite a normal situation.
