PMI no longer communicates what the PMP Exam passing score is. It used to be 61% but ever since 2008 PMI only mentions the "sound psychometric analysis" regarding the passing score. So nobody knows.

As a general rule: When you are taking PMP sample exams you should try and attain a consistent score of 80% when you take a mock exam for the first time. (So it doesn't count, if you have a 100% score the 2nd time on the same sample exam.)

In the pmp handbook it is mentioned that the exam score the following is mentioned

The passing score for all PMI credential examinations is determined by sound psychometric analysis.
PMI uses subject matter experts from across the globe to help establish a point at which each candidate should pass the examination(s) and the examination point of difficulty.

what happened to the 61% , was this a correct information? and till what time it was correct ?
