I would say you are not plateauing but hiting the inverse square law of the PMP exams, it gets harder to increase the grades the higher your average grade becomes. Its much easier to go up 10% if you avg is 50% but once you get up to those 70%+ it can be a huge amount of work to get those % values up because you are now hitting the hardest questions.

But it is not always needed to get much higher, my grades were around 70% to 75% and I got the 3 ATs just 1 year ago. Also I had the same issue as you, I was getting frustrated I could not increase as much as I did earlier on. But this is normal. Good luck with the exam and please let us know how you get on!

Richie,

When I took the test in 2019, I was sick of studying. My PrepCast Simulator Scores were hovering at 75-77% consistently through 5, full length exams. I passed with 5 ATs. (In 2019, there were 5 domains).

When I did a complete retrospective of the score I found that the individual submects that lined up with the Exam Content Outline were very binary: Either I knew the area really, really well or I didn't know it at all. There was no in-between.

It certainly can be done. Those of us who have been on the forum use the 85%-ish score on the simulator as a good measure of pass/fail rate You mileage may vary.

Good luck.

I manage public sector IT projects (mostly government system upgrades and compliance initiatives). Been studying on and off for about four months.

Testing June 30th. Literally the last possible day before the July switch .

PrepCast scores stuck at 72-74% for two weeks. Not terrible, but I really don't want to learn a whole new format if I fail. Anyone else hitting a plateau this close to the finish line?
