Have you already completed the required 35 hours of project management training? If so, I don't believe that expires quickly (like 3 years?)
If it were my money, I'd invest in a high-quality exam simulator, and the PrepCast one is, in my opinion, the best one available (out of a sampling of three I looked at in 2019!). I believe that PrepCast is moving the exam simulator to the new exam in early May.
I haven’t been able to secure an exam slot yet, so I’m thinking of getting a head start on studying for the latest PMP version. I noticed that the Project Management Institute offers its official Authorized On-Demand PMP Exam Prep course, but it’s priced at around $700.
Since it’s the only “official” PMI course, I’m wondering if it actually delivers enough value to justify the cost. Has anyone here taken it? How does it compare to other prep options in terms of effectiveness and overall ROI?
Would appreciate any honest feedback before committing.
