Good news, everyone!

We have completed the development of new questions that reference the latest PMBOK Guide - 7th Edition! The new questions have been added to both pools: the Exam pool (Exam 1, 2, 3, 4) and the Quiz pool.

Additionally, the fact that many current questions in our PMP Exam Simulator are supported by the 6th Edition of the PMBOK Guide does not negate their alignment with the 7th Edition. After all, the concepts outlined in the 7th Edition are not new; they may be worded slightly differently and less prescriptive, but they still reflect project management best practices. Therefore, as part of the effort to update our PMP Exam Simulator, we have been updating references of existing questions that can be supported by both editions of the PMBOK Guide, 6th and 7th. So far, we have added 7th Edition references to hundreds of questions and will continue doing so on an ongoing basis.

Furthermore, to provide our students with a better user experience, each PMBOK Guide 7th Edition reference comes as a hyperlink to the PMI digital platform, PMIstandards+ . This means that you don’t need a physical copy of the PMBOK Guide; you can simply click the link and view the relevant PMBOK Guide section online.

Pritam, they have informed officially: www.pmi.org/certifications/project-manag...n/pmp-reference-list
There is no rule about what materials can or cannot be included as learning material to underpin what is in the ECO. PMI can decided whatever they like, it's their exam!

I disagree with you because as long as ECO exam content outline is not changed, pmi shall not introduce pmbok 7 as per rule.

But if at all they do let them inform officially.

Otherwise it shall be unethical.

Starting 19-Nov-2021 PMI began using the PMBOK Guide 7th edition as one of the ten reference books for the PMP exam. This means that you will begin seeing questions on the exam that reference this latest version. However, it will take months until a substantial number of these questions have been developed, tested and added to the PMP exam. In other words, there will only be a few questions at first with more and more being added over time. This is an ongoing process where PMI will "trickle" these new questions into the exam whenever they are ready.

We are taking exactly the same approach for The PMP Exam Simulator. We are currently developing and testing new questions that reference the PMBOK Guide 7th edition and will be adding those to the simulator question pool over time. There is no single release date for these questions. Instead, we will add them to the simulator in batches over the coming months, just like PMI is adding their new questions to the real PMP exam in batches as well.

Because PMI is releasing these questions over time, it also means that exam takers are now encouraged to study BOTH the PMBOK Guide 6th edition as well as PMBOK Guide 7th edition as they prepare to take the exam.

Lastly, please note that we will not be announcing release dates of when we will be adding our new questions to the simulator, and that the simulator does not give you the option to "show me only PMBOK 7 questions".
