TOPIC: PMI Study Hall

Good morning

I am studying for the PMP exam. In addition to the prepcast exam simulator I bought access to the PMI study hall ( www.pmi.org/landing/pmi-study-hall ).

I did some quizzes (overall 20, the number of questions varied between 10-60 questions each) in the prepcast exam simulator and scored around 75- 80%. In the mock exam I scored with 75% (mock exam one) and 77% (mock exam two).

In the study hall I did 2 mini practice exams (15 questions each) and scored at 60% only. So I am very frustrated.

My exam is schedule for the 20th of May. Based on the results from the prepcast simulator I was confident to do the exam on the 20th. But taking the result from the study hall into consideration I am very worried.

Does anyone have experience with the study hall questions? Are they closer to the real exam?

I also tried using PMI Study Hall today and scored 57% in full mock exam. Found it very hard. And having the PMP exam in few days. But in prepcast I am scoring good and can justify my answers.
PMI Study Hall doesn’t give more explanations to justify the answers and I am not able to figure out why that option is correct. And I also doubt few answers given in Study Hall is incorrect to my knowledge.
So many new terminology which I havent read so far during my preparations.
Any info/advice on this will be very helpful as I got the exam in few days.

After reading this post I have also subscribed for the PMI Study Hall and totally agree with what was written. Here I'm scoring 80-85%, there I'm struggling to get a 65%.
However, I am not panicking (yet) and I do believe my preparation was adequate. I would appreciate to hear your feedback after taking the real exam. Good luck and stay positive!

I pass my exam yesterday with all domains above target. I stopped using PMP study hall after I posted the question here and fully concentrated on the PrepCast Simulator. Using the PrepCast simulator I scored between 80-85% the days before the exam.

For me the Study Hall concept was not the right tool to support me on my way to the exam.
For example, there was no explanation why an answer in the practice test was wrong, so seeing the wrong answer and not knowing why was frustrating.
The length of the text on the flashcards was also to long and not helpful for me.

However, that is just my experience and opinion.

I agree 100% with what you wrote. I passed the PMP exam on 24/05/21 with AT in all domains. I was very confident while using the PrepCast Simulator, but in the Study Hall I felt totally lost. I did almost all 15 questions tests but instead of helping I felt more confused.
I definitely wouldn't focus too much on Study Hall in terms of simulator.

Study Hall questions are the closest things to the real exam, at least in my experience. Take you time and make sure you read all the papers and you should be okay. That is the main thing I used in my preparation and I passed.

@anonymous -- there really is only one PrepCast Simulator: www.pm-exam-simulator.com/pmp (The official name is The PM Exam Simulator, but most people call it PrepCast Simulator).

So did you take the PMP exam and passed it. Do you recommend PMI Study Hall?
