Hi Brian,

Totally valid question!! Agile isn’t just for software—it’s a mindset and framework that adapts well to any iterative, fast-changing, or team-driven environment. Here's how agile can be applied to food technology:
a) Product development: Rapid prototyping, sensory trials, or small-batch testing = Agile sprints.
b) Cross-functional teams: Food tech R&D often involves QA, compliance, marketing, etc.—exactly the kind of collaboration Agile encourages.
c) Customer feedback loops: Think recipe tweaks based on test groups, or reformulation after market testing.
d) Regulatory iterations: Navigating evolving compliance like labeling laws or shelf-stability? Agile helps respond quickly.

Apply due diligence before diving into the PMI-ACP, especially if your domain is food tech or R&D.

Hey everyone, I need a fresh perspective!

I graduated with a food tech degree, but I may pivot into project management given the responsibilities I've been given the past few months. I know Agile is huge in tech, but does it translate well to food technology or R&D? Has anyone made a career shift after getting PMI-ACP certified?
