I’ve been eyeing the PMI-ACP as my next move as agile is where everything’s headed. I prepped mid-2024 but when the exam change came and I'm not as confident anymore. What has been notable changes from the old to the new exam? Would appreciate some honest takes here.

Hi Kristalyn,

You're right to be cautious—PMI made significant updates to the PMI-ACP exam in November 2024. Please refer to this blog for a detailed explanation of the new changes.

Recommendations based on the new changes:
1. Review the New Exam Content Outline: Familiarize yourself with the updated domains and tasks to align your study materials.
2. Update Your Training Hours: Ensure your training meets the new 28-hour requirement.
3. Practice with Updated Simulators: Utilize exam simulators that reflect the new question formats and scenarios.
4. Focus on Agile Mindset and Leadership: Given the emphasis on these areas, deepen your understanding of agile principles and leadership in agile environments.

Hope you find this information helpful.
