You need to meet below experience criteria to apply for PMI-ACP:
1. 12 months of general project experience within the last 5 years (A current PMP® or PgMP® will satisfy this requirement but is not required to apply for the PMI-ACP®)
2. 8 months of agile project experience within the last 3 years

PMI considers your role in leading and directing the project but not the title.

Hello,
I am in the process of submitting my application to take the exam however I have a question and for some reason no matter how I ask it the PMI team is not able to give me an answer. In the PMI-ACP Exam Overview video, we were told that any hours that we worked on a project regardless of our role we could use those hours towards the requirement hours. I was a Change Manager and I was responsible for reviewing all project-related requests to ensure compliance etc., and approve them. Would I be able to use these hours towards the project requirement hours? Any guidance would greatly be appreciated.
