I currently have a PMP certification which expires on December 2nd.I'm currently doing the Agile prepcast course for which I plan to claim 37 PDU's once I finish the course. Do I have to take the exam to claim the PDU's?

Kiran,

Yes. It is a PMI requirement.

We are what PMI calls a "distance learning provider" and our courses must have an "end of course assessment" before we give you the PDU certificate.

So in other words: In order for you to receive the certificate you must take the Final Exam.
