Hello -
I passed the exam with Above Target rating overall. Here's how I prepped for it:

1. Set aside 4 months of studying, at 2 hrs/day including weekend
2. Read through PMBOK chapter, follow by Cornelius' audio file of the same chapter -- I found this is helpful as the PMBOK reading is soooo dry -- I'd recommend reading through PMBOK at least 2x before the exam. The second read through helped me grasp the concepts better
3. Do the PrepCast's self-assessment practice exam after each audio
4. Use Rita Mulcahy's CAPM exam prep book (her book helps "translate" PMBOK language into simpler explanation), and do the practice test exam on RM's prep book. She also have some flashcards from the book that I also found helpful to practice the ITTO.
5. Get PM PREPCAST's exam simulator for CAPM -- an absolute must!! -- I recommend start using the simulator as soon as you're able to read through PMBOK. I was averaging 70-75% on 1st try using the simulator and honestly felt the simulator was harder than the actual exam

Hope this helps.
