Here's what helped me

1) Watch video on computer
2) Follow along with PMBOK guide
3) On your writing hand side take notes in notebook

I've never reviewed my notes. Just the process of writing was some sort of a scanning process of knowledge.

Take lots and lots and lots of mock tests only from reputable sources like PM PrepCast you will find that there's lots of cheaper mock tests online but they don't offer support, stats etc...

I did around 2000 questions before taking the exam
Work on your weaknesses

Don't doubt yourself.

For people that have taken the exam
1) No strikethrough anymore?
2) I've heard of that before but I can attest that it seems true: Lots of people claim that the first 5 to 10 questions are pretty hard and are only there to discourage the test taker in an early stage. The first 5 questions were pretty hard on my exam but the rest is the usual . 4 choices, usually 2 don't make sense but the 2 that make sense are so tricky to answer!
