Project Management Professional (PMP)® Student Profiles:

Student Profile: Alvin P. Tejada, PMP

profileI'm a licensed Architect, LEED, and WELL Accredited Professional. My company, APTCS Group, is a consultancy company that provides construction and project management services in the Philippines. I pursued the PMP Certification as a validation of my competence in the services that I provide. Preparing for the exam is quite tough, as I need to run an office and also a family at the same time; but with determination and persistence, it has been a successful journey.

The PMP Handbook helps prepare candidates on what to expect for the exams. It is important to read it so one can be guided on how the exam is structured and also to understand all the requirements to pass the exam.

To be successful in the exam, ensure that you have allotted enough time to read and review. The PM Simulator exam provides the best preparation in the last week before the exam, as it makes you aware if there are any lectures that you have to review back and also gives you confidence in your readiness for the exam. Remember to not just prepare mentally, but also physically and spiritually for your exam.
