My primary study resource were PMBOK 6th ed and PMP Exam Simulator. I purchased Prepcast PMP Exam Simulator 2021 by the end of January and tried all questions including 4 mock exams. By trying few questions from Mock exam 5 question on a short quiz and by seeing its format, I concluded it was not necessary to spend ~ 3 hours to complete the optional mock exam. Trying 2K questions seemed a lot of work but I took short quizzes daily as much as I could and used weekends to try mock exams.

I took each project knowledge quiz to check my understanding after I read PMBOK chapter by chapter daily. Quiz result has a detailed explanation and reference of PMBOK so it helped me to find further details. By seeing many people shared they were asked not to read questions aloud during the exam, I tried not to read questions while I was preparing PMP. I also took few short video using my webcam when I was taking quizzes to observe if there is any behaviour that the exam proctor would point out.

My biggest mistake was interpreting the whole process as linear like waterfall. :( Once it is done I thought it won't come back! This part made me really confused when the later process output appears as input to the earlier. However by reading PMBOK and taking quizzes I got a better understanding of Project process.

I watched PearsonVue exam guide video twice and prepared everything prior to the exam day. The proctor asked me if I unplugged the second monitor prior to the exam only. There were no further check required.

Among many triple AT result, I feel little shy to share my own exam experience :P but I am so glad I reached the goal by today! I will recommend others to get the simulators if they consider to take PMP later and also would come back if I plan to take another certificate exam. :)

Congratulations, Hannah! Great tip about taking video to check for any unconscious behaviour that we aren't aware of.

Thank you so much for sharing. I tend to read questions out loud, specially the ones I am not sure about. will have to practice and record too.

Thanks again.
